Clause / 01 — Who we are

Aurora Divinia is an Australian clothing brand, operated under the business name "Aurora Divinia", based in Victoria, Australia. We are responsible for the personal information collected through auroradivinia.com and our social channels.

We ship internationally, so customers may reach us from outside Australia. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as our primary framework, and we respect additional rights that may apply to you under your local law (see Clause 07).

Clause / 02 — What we collect

Identity and contact. Name, email, phone number, and shipping and billing address when you order, create an account, or sign up.

Order and payment. What you bought and your payment status. Payments are processed by our payment providers — your full card details never reach us; we see only confirmation and partial identifiers.

Device and usage. IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and actions on the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

Marketing preferences. Your email subscription status and how you interact with our messages.

Giveaway entries. When you enter a competition: your entry details, eligibility information, and — if you win — whatever the giveaway terms say we need to deliver the prize and announce the result. Support correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, including return requests and any photos you provide.

Clause / 03 — How we use it

Running your order. Processing payment, production, shipping, delivery updates, returns and support. Basis: performing our contract with you.

Marketing. Email campaigns sent through Mailchimp when you've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Basis: your consent.

Advertising and analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and advertising technology from Meta (the Meta Pixel) to measure our ads and reach people likely to be into what we make. Where your local law requires it, these only operate with your consent. Basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest in running and promoting the brand, depending on your region.

Giveaways. Administering entries, verifying eligibility, drawing and announcing winners, and delivering prizes under the published giveaway terms.

Protection and compliance. Fraud screening on orders, keeping tax and accounting records, and meeting our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Clause / 04 — Who touches it

We share personal information only with the services that run the store, and only what each one needs:

International transfers. These providers may process data in Australia, the United States and other countries. Where data leaves your region, we rely on recognised safeguards — such as the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms — to protect it, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Clause / 05 — Cookies & tracking

Essential. Cart, checkout and security. The store doesn't work without these.

Analytics. How the site is used, so we can improve it (Google Analytics).

Marketing. The Meta Pixel, which measures ads and builds audiences.

You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie preferences on this site where shown, and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout.

Clause / 06 — How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are retained for at least the period required under applicable Australian tax and accounting laws. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Giveaway entry data is kept for the period stated in the giveaway terms, then deleted. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and defend any legal claims. Everything else is deleted or anonymised when it's no longer needed.

Clause / 07 — Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your data, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
• Opt out of marketing at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

Email contact.us@auroradivinia.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time and in line with our legal obligations. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at https://www.oaic.gov.au.

International customers. If you are located outside Australia, you may have additional privacy rights under the laws of your country or region. Where those laws apply to our handling of your personal information, we will comply with our applicable legal obligations.

Clause / 08 — Minors & changes

The store isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.

When we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify subscribers by email. The updated Privacy Policy applies from the effective date shown at the top of this page.
